I just received my predator. i have a c5r cold air intake and a borla atak exaust is it ok to use this tuner?

This thing is awsome!! I just received a cat delete pipe. Will the check engine light come on? Do i need to get a custom tune e-mailed to me or can i turn the check engine light off? i have not installed it yet. i dont want the check engine light on.

yes you'll get the trouble codes and CEL on... yes you need a custom tune done for it...

That may be a tuning nightmare if you install it. It actually gives a false reading and tricks the ecm into thinking there is a different air flow......Not a good idea IMO, save yourself some money and stick with the stock MAF. They are good for around 500hp.

yeah, do NOT install any aftermarket MAF sensor! no need to at all.. the stock is good for 550/600+ hp anyway...

you'll screw up the tune we're working on, cuz the readings will not be correct from the aftermarket MAF!!!
