Bad delay on downshifts

Does the CTS-V have adaptives? For some reason today she's taking forever to kick down. You can mat the pedal, and then count 2 Mississippi's before the motor wakes up, revs and the tranny downshifts. Its almost like the computer got retarded and can't think fast enough any more.

Yes, there are adaptives, you been driving like Grandma?

Try flashing it again, see if it wakes up....

Yeah, weather hasn't been great, so I've been babying it. I'll try reflashing it.

Gotta get this straightened out before the pulley gets swapped. Decided to start with the lower first, then do the upper after she's broken in (6 and a half months owning it, she has just 1600 miles on her). Don't think its a good idea to pull the blower yet, just in case it starts acting up with higher boost. How the hell am I gonna explain to the dealer a solid coupler and smaller pulley and then expect it to be warrantied.... :o

No good, still doing it. Must not be an adaptive issue.
