I have a 2004 silverado 5.3 and when i install the 87 octane tune the truck does not run. it doesnt even idle it just dies as soon as i start it up. the diablo tune works fine and is installed right now. But does anyone know what i have to do to get the 87 octane tune to work?

I dont know what you mean? i just got it yesterday so i'm new

power up the predator... after it boots up and is at the main menu, the revision number is shown at the top of the screen... it would be a number like 9rXX... what is that number??

did you make any adjustments when you loaded the 87 tune?

no. just loaded it on to my truck following the instructions

Can you export a copy of the stock tune from your truck and post it here so we can check it out?

yeah but i need to buy the usb cord or whatever because i dont have one

OK, use the 93 tune for now, and you can modify it by pulling 4-3* of spark for use with 87 fuel.

ok thanks. How do I go about getting the USB cord for it?

you can get it from any of our dealers, or any radio shack, or computer supply store.
USB to serial and a 12v 1 amp power supply.

so i tried again to load the 87 tune on my truck today and now it works idk what happened the first time. but i noticed that when i first load both tunes it idles really low at first and then works itself out over time. but for some reason on the 87 tune when the engine is in between being cold and normal operating temperature the idle when pulling up to stop signs goes to about 400 to 300 rpm. after the engine warms up its fine and does not do this and it does not do it when its completely cold either. its only been a day since ive loaded the tune should i give it more time to work it out? the diablo tune didnt take this long to work stuff out it only took about an hour

I tried to load the 87 tune today and then back to the performance tune and I had the same idle problem on my '03 5.3 Chevy.
