u7194..part throttle timing

I only see parameters for WOT. I have a customer with an 07 Z06 that has part throttle ping. I called and after sitting on hold for 25 mins the tech had no clue. Is there an update for this model? There are very few parameters to adjust. The manual is wrong and not specific to this model. I sold it 2 just weeks ago. I'm hoping to get an answer because I've sold 4 in the last week and fear more calls.

I reduced the 4k+rpm WOT timing by 1% and logged the live data. I can't tell what I'm seeing. How do you tell it it's pulling timing? The ping was very faint. I bet 1% more might fix it but I'd still like to know how to use the unit. Is there a manual online specific for this model?

Is the vehicle throwing any codes for KR? You can monitor total timing, max fast spark retard, or total knock retard to see if the PCM is pulling timing.
Does this car have any other mods, as we tested on stock vehicles and that is what the tunes are designed around. If the car has been modded further, it may require a custom tune.

I didn't see a place to moniter total knock retard. No mods. No codes. I left a message for you to call me at 9 a.m. I was told you were off today.

That is strange, if there are no codes there is usually no knock. These knock sensors are very sensitive.
Are you hearing valvetrain noises? Monitor total timing and see if it is dropping at any point.

Have you asked your customer what brand of fuel he is using and maybe have him try a different brand, quality does vary between brands of fuel quite drastically.
You can also try to add some more fuel via the Predator.
