2010 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L Vin 3gtrkve33ag186180 The tuner programed the truck once. I did change the tire size during the installation, I also changed the Converter lock up, it was to harsh so went back and changed it to the original setting. Then it was to soft, seemed as if the trans was slipping before going into gear at WOT. When I tried to change the tune again the tuner locks up and displays "Exit Called". This happens when I am prompted to turn the key on. I have disconnected the battery on the truck for an hour to reset any PCM issue, however this did not change anything. Version # 1r01e

Strange you are having this issue. My 2010 5.3 runs like a scalped ape and shifts great.....Hope they can get this taken care of for you. Not sure what version I am running, never updated it since it was pre-ordered.

I'm another 2010 5.3 owner with no problems. I hope they get you straightened out sooner than later.

I have a 2012 GMC Sierra that was working fine until i decided to update it.....then it would freeze up every time you i would go to write. After weeks of waiting to hear back from tech support, I finally called them back and after resetting the intune I some how got back to the original firmware and I just never updated it again.........kinda sad that I can't update it now, but hey at least it works......Tech support told me to return the intune, but if the thing is working and I do the update and now it doesn't, kinda sounds like there's a software issue not a hardware issue......hope the guys can get it sorted out!

The new 1r01f update should resolve any issues and is up on the server now.

it's on their update server... you can't "see" it hehe...
the inTune knows where to look... plug in your intune to your computer and it should automatically download and install the update from the "server"

What else is fixed or added on to 1r01f? I know "e" gave support to a good amount of fords.

What does this update due for our trucks? I never even plugged mine i nto update it, whatever it came with that's what I am running. Was waiting for TCM support before I updated. Are there any performance upgrades or is it just new cal id supported?

It's usually inTune software updates as well as calid updates and the "e" update added fords. I'm not sure what they added to "f". Maybe Lew can help us out and if he doesn't know we will have to wait for Mikel on Monday.

dont' wait man... update it... you don't want to get too far behind, then there could be issues trying to jump ahead so many revisions at once with a bigger update....
just update it... there are bug fixes in the updates, not just new support added for people...
