inTune freezing when writing

Post by hulkster »

When attempting to write to the vehicle for the first time, inTune froze. I called support and had it reset. I updated the files and attempted to write again. inTune froze again. I was informed by technical support that an issue existed on the server when sending out calibration updates. I'm checking back to see if the issue has been resolved and if I can begin to the process.

Thanks.

Thanks for the response. Application now reads 1r01f. Unfortunately, inTune still freezes when I connect to the car (2007 Charger SRT8, CAI, exhaust system).

plug the tool into a PC. When it asks if you want to restore stock tune choose no.
intune will go back to main menu. From there let it auto update.
After it updates go to the car and let it restore stock tune.

Tough to say.
If you are up and running now, lets hold off and look into that on Monday.
Maybe try disconnecting the battery for a minute or two (both cables) and see if that gets rid of the lights.

Thanks

I have a similar situation. My 08 Silverado will not start (in recovery mode, won't write factory backup) When I called tech support Friday. A Frank sent me a "cd-rom1r01d.itf" file. I am not sure what to do with it... I think because it was close to quitting time, I was rushed off the phone. Any help?

I went an manually searched for update...once intune updated all was fine besides my ESP AND BAS lights wouldn't go off, but in my book it told me to turn the wheels all the way to the left and then right. I did that and soon as i got up to speed they went off.
Hope this helps.
