Global Timing Tweaks - '06 Mustang GT & U7140

What kind of gains could I expect, if any, from tweaking the global timing settings in my tune? Is this even advisable? If so, where would you recommend starting point or any limitations to the settings?

As the timing is already set to make peak power on the street and the dyno in the tunes provided, I would generally advise against it as the power gain if any would be minimal at best, yet the chance of detonation will greatly increase.
