Wondering if the Diablo Sport InTune I-1000 Tuner is compatable with a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic Body Style. It says it works on sierras from 07-12 but is the classic body style included?

Thanks for the reply mike. Since the salesman at custom truck parts told me it would work for the 07 classic i programmed it with the 87 octane setting and it successfully installed. Is this going to be harmful to the engine? I'm guessing i should just go back to factory settings and wait for the update to come out?

OK.
FWIW, in the future, I would take our word for this stuff over the person who sold it, as they did not manufacture it ;)

If it did work on your truck, it was not supposed to and has not been thoroughly tested....

So i've tried to restore the factory settings so that i can wait for the 07 classic update to come out and when i plug the intune into the truck it says that it is in recovery mode. So i continued and it says last tune failed, restoring original backup, and then it goes to the screen where it says writing tune and it seems to start working except it stays at 0%. Any suggestions? Also between installing the octane 87 tune and trying to go back to factory settings now, i had an Astrostart remote start installed in the truck. Could this possibly be responsible for not letting the intune write the tune? Thanks

yes, remote starts are notorious issues on these classic trucks, as well as aftermarket stereos, and anything that ties into the factory harness.

Also, did your tool update to to 1r01g?
If not, I would not let it update...

i have the aftermarket remote start and an aftermarket stereo in there. So do i have to disconnect these things or what? Ya i plugged the tool in yesterday and it says it was updating and then it rebooted but i dont know what it updated to. When i plug into the computer and try to open intune.exe i think its called, it pops of for half a second and then doesnt open.
