Can not adjust parameters 2004 corvette A4 7193

I have a u7193, 9r11. My car is a 2004 corvette with an automatic.

I contacted customer service about the problems I am having and I feel I didn't receive an earnest response on your part. I spent hours reading through this forum and found one other person with the same problem and their problem has not been resolved either. The problem is that I can't adjust any parameters. I have a 160 t-stat and only wanted to adjust the fans at this point. You suggested I select the manual trans. even though I have and automatic and that I should be able to then adjust the parameters. That doesn't work. I was able to install the DiabloTune and that is all I can do. I tried to go back to the factory tune and now it won't allow me to do that. I feel that there are too many other things happening to try to explain here other than after I tried without success to install the stock tune my car wouldn't start. I gave up and put everything away and decided to try to start the car one more time and it started. I reconnected the tool and checked the last tune installed and it still shows the DiabloTune is still installed. I left it that way because I need the car to run. I test drove it and it is running as it did before I tried to

If you aren't able to resolve this issue with someone else on the forum, is there any reason for me to believe you can help me. I would like to be able to use the tool and all of the functions you say I should be able to utilize on this site but I also do not want to waste time trying if there is no known fix.

What do we do now?

I have used a Predator on my 2008 Mustang and didn't have any trouble.

As you can likely imagine, getting any tool to work the way it is supposed to across hundreds of different types of vehicles and calibrations is a huge task. Just the simple fact that out of some 7-8000 U7193 Predators that are out there, there are all of 2 people having this issue, says we have a pretty good handle n it

Now, in these cases we may need some more info from you, including hte VIN number and maybe the vehicles calibrations.
This way we can attempt to duplicate it on the bench and see why they are not working.

As to the backup issue, what error do you get when it says it cant restore the stock tune?

Thanks for pointing that out. In a previous phone conversation it was stated that this was a known problem with the u7193 and some Corvettes.
Enough said about all of that.

What I would like to say now is that between Vas, Mikel and Jon we are getting most of the problems worked out. Thank you all for your continued patience. The last problem to work through is not being able to access the automatic transmission parameters. After that is resolved it is on to a Diablew tune and data logging.
