Hi,
Just ordered a Trinity. Could someone measure the diameter of the Trinity suction cup mount? I'm hoping the Garmin 2 1/2" plastic adhesive disk will work for mounting purposes. I'd rather not mount it on the windshield.

the trinity has a special back on it to accomodate it's own specific windshield mount... the garmin mount won't work on the trinity...
and at the end of that mount, is a square/rectangle platform that the trinity slides onto and locks on...

The plastic disks I'm referring to is this little guy. It's just a smooth flat disk that the suction cup sticks to.

It has two sided tape that sticks to the dash, console or whatever.

aah, gotcha... sounded like you were wanting to use your existing garmin mount itself...

The Garmin mount might work too. It depends on the ball size. If the ball is the same size as the one on the Trinitys mount, theres no reason you couldn't use it. The Trinitys ball is 17mm.
