Finally bought injectors

Finally picked up a set of injectors for the V. After seeing 122% IDC at 13.5psi and wanting to keep it around 80%, even after I change the upper pulley (to 17.5psi), and wanting to raise the limiters, I figured I should go a little bigger. Picked up a set of 1000cc Bosch's. Just couldn't justify double the cost for ID1000's, especially since I have to buy a new computer now (toasted my laptops motherboard).

Who's gonna help me out with tuning this? Johan, Lew, Mike? They'll be here the 9th or 10th.

The problem now becomes, how the hell do I upload my tune file, without my computer? Can't plug the Trinity into my phone.

EDIT: You know, looking back, it's amazing how far we've (I've) come in the last 6 years. Back when I was building L67s, I'd use 42# injectors in just about everything, only stepping up to 65#er's for all out Whipple builds. Even the SRT8s only had 58# injectors. Now I'm using 95#ers in a basic bolt-on build. What the hell happened? Are we really making twice the power that we were 6 years ago?

You got any available data for those injectors?

If there is data, its real easy to put it in the tune, question is, how good is the data (thats what you are paying for with the ID's)

They say they can provide tuning data, or the data on IDs website will work. They still insist they're identical to the ID1000s.

first sign of shady injectors is the manufacturer telling you that you can use someone elses data

There are lots of 42# injectors, and none of them use anywhere near the same data....

Get the data they have, and a copy of the tunes, and we can do it up. From there, fuel trims will tell us how close we got.

Okay I requested the data. If he sends an HPTuners base file, can you get the info from that?

I'm gonna try to get my tunes off the Trinity on my moms computer. Its really old though, so I'm not certain it even has a USB port. Worst case scenario, I'll go to the library and do it. My replacement notebook won't be in until the end of next week.

Okay, that was a nightmare. It took forever to get the files, but here they are. I included my last tunes written and my stock backups. Need a log of anything? I'll put up the injector files as soon as I get them.

Nope, just the injector data for now, log the trims once you get the tune.

Are you guys able to convert EFI Live files? He has that ready. Doesn't know when he'll get to convert it to HPT.

No idea what program its for, he claims EFI live, but it looks like an Excel file to me.
