Updates confusion

I just got my trinity brand new yesterday so will it already be up to date? I was looking at all the updates for the trinity and how do I know what applies to me or which ones i actually need. It is just confusing to me at the moment.

not necessarily... it could have been sitting on the dealers shelf for months...

download the lastest dsdownloader program from this site.. it's version 2.2.2.6... it will also install the Trinity USB drivers...

when you get your trinity, connect it to your Windows PC... after it boots up and is at the main screen, start up the dsdownloader program, and it will automatically download and install all of the latest updates to the Trinity...

Okay thanks that worked. It installed all the updates, even the ones that dont apply to me but I guess that wont matter unless I run out of space on it. Thanks.
