Hi there,
New to this forum, but i've been debating for the past year now to get a tune into this truck and liven it up a bit! My greatest concern has been the warranty issues. Some say it's not detectable, other say dodge can still see if there was something modified even after removing it. That's really been the biggest thing that's held me back from purchasing a diablo tuner. Can anyone give some insight into this? Would be appreciated.
Truck in question is a 2010 ram 1500 hemi crew cab 4x4. Truck went down the track last week and ran a 15.09 @ 93.95 mph, all it has is a magnaflow muffler. Im happy with the truck, but would love to get a bit better throttle response and of course some more power.
Another question, if i was to disable the mds on it and load one of these tunes, would my mileage drop or would the better tune make up for that?
AND! my last question i promise! lol. I see now there is the intune that has been released and is going to replace the predator. Is it worth paying the extra to get the intune instead then? I've read that some people seem to have some issues with the bugs in this tuner which makes me nervous, this is my only vehicle so i cant afford any down time.
Thanks guys!
