trinity doesn't support DCX_GAS

Ive been on the phone a couple of times and someone said they would email me something 2 weeks ago.

Anyway, I get the error: trinity does not support DCX_GAS. Cal ID 04692392AD. I hit continue and get:
PCM05094680AL
TCM 04692392AD

The person i spoke with said they needed to chat with engineering. I'm an engineer so I know we can be a little slow, but do we have a possible resolution to this yet?

The annoying thing is that this is my second unit. The first I had to return because it locked up.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Any news on this?

I was hoping to have this thing working by now. I have owned one for over one month now.

Thanks

Hey Mikel, this is the third 06-07 R/T car I've seen having an issue with the Trinity, is this just coincidence?

Bump for my birthday.

I really want this to work out. I don't want to return it.

Wow that was an easy fix. Not saying this will work for anyone with this issue, but all they had me do is select a different car at random. Then the tool replied registry changed. Then i changed it back to my charger and viola, back in business :). Thanks Customer service.

The last time i called in I got another guy who asked me if I disconnected the battery to reset thecar computer. I hadn't so we hung up.

I tried that finally last week and that did not help.

I am going to try this trick mentioned above at lunch today. I hope it works.

I had this same issue with mine today with my 06 Magnum R/T, and what the tech ended up having me do was to change the vehicle to a 2010 Challenger, and it worked. He told me to just leave it programmed as the '10 Chalengar. It's been working so far for me this way.

Interesting solution. I will try.

I've had many personal interruptions and now just gotten back to this non-working programmer. If this doesn't work I may throw in the towel.

10 Challenger with a 5.7 I'm guessing?

Well that seemed to take. I will try the econo canned tune and the 93 octane canned tune to see what happens. Then we'll see what I can do custom.

I'm still leery about using the wrong year.

dcx gas is dcx gas, whether you pick 03 SRT4 neon or 2010 Ram, it all takes you to the same place :)
