intune problems

Post by rozziboy18 »

I-1000
2009 dodge ram 1500 5.7

i cant get the programer to load correctly on my computer. it updated but the whole time it kept restarting the software on the computer and i have no control over it.

now when i plug it in -

=plug in device
=diablo .05 seconds flashes on the screen
=registration window pops up but then goes away and so does the icon in the lower corner.

its like the system force closes on me before i can do anything. i followed the previous thread on this and had no luck getting it to work.
programer refues to copy pcm so i can tune my truck.

this seems to be the most popular thing eveyone asks for

ok 90% of the problem is now gone. intune is interfacing with my pc now, intune has also detects my tuck and boots up fine. now however, when i go to "write" my truck it tells me that there is a update and trys to update. but it does not update instead it gives me a (-5) error code. any help?

it lost the update, reconnect it to the truck, let it ask for the update again, and repeat the process.

Thanks

ok tech support was a big help (realy they were), they had me do some reseting of the updates and a few other settings. now the problem seems to be the when i go to write the tune, it refuses to save the factory tune and just says that it failed to save pcm tune. i have disconnected the battery 3 times, once just the +, once just the - and once both, with no luck.

i have been told to set tight and wait for the fix from the techs, seems to be a fairly common problem from dodge owners between the years of 08-09.

questions is, do yall have any other ideals?

I just got mine and after spending a half-hour on the phone got the intune to work and update, then I went out and plugged it into my truck (2009 Dodge 1500 5.7) and I get the same thing as you do "failed to save pcm tune". I guess will have to call the on monday!!! Hope they can get it fixed because I would like to try a tune on this truck.
