Its the truck that needs updating, not the Trinity. Follow the directions on diablosport.com/dcx. It explains what to do.

PCM: bootup string missing vpp issue? Mike Litsch said its a specific issue related to early chrysler vehicles.its random nased on the protocol in those vehicles.

Does this mean trinity isnt going to work in my vehicle. does this mean that the predetor wont either.? is there a way to fix it

vpp issue is either electronics inthe truck causing an issue, or a problem with the tool itself which it will need to come back to be repaired.
