Unfortunately, those of us with 05 and 06 SRT's that have not had the TSB flash from DCX may be out of luck with having Auto-Kick (Auto-Upshift) enabled with this tuner. I really haven't heard a definite answer from Diablo on this. Understandingly, they have had a lot more important things in the works. You would think that if they can disable they could figure out a way to enable ours. We are running on a different TCM flash than many so it may not be as simple as it seems.

I have resolved to the fact that this will probably require a trip to the dealer.

Don't look upon the pending trip to the dealer as a bad thing, gentlemen.

The TSB which corrects SRT8 1-2 shift logic also fixes a myriad other issues, many too small for you to have noticed. The overall improvement in the performance of your transmission, however, is readily apparent (quicker R to D, D to R transitions, and better shift behavior throughout are but two of many fixes).

It's badly needed, it's free, your car's driveability will be greatly increased for the remaining life of the vehicle, and performance tuners will suddenly work as expected. Or better. What's not to like. ;)
