2003 dodge ram hemi not allowing tire size change

i purchased my new intune today and everything works as it should, but when i go to change my tire size it says it doesnt recognize the parameters for tire change! any help would be appreciated! Also in my tuning options it has a "diablo tune", and im curious what that is!

diablo tune is for 93 octane. tire size will be fixed shortly!

Hey Mikel I have the same problem with my 2004 dodge ram 5.7l but when I call tech support I was told that you are not allow to do anything about tire size calibration because for those models the tire parameters come from the ABS system and you guys are not supposed to mess with that.

I don't remember his name,it was 2 months ago but I had some problems with my intune calibration,I call tech support and they fix my problem but when I try to do the tire size calibration it says:error can not find tire calibration parameters(or something like that) so I call back tech support and when I ask about that problem that person told me that there won't be tire size calibration for that ram model because of the ABS system.......can I calibrate my tire size parameters??does my intune needs an update or do I have to call tech support??

I assume we are still waiting on this issue to be resolved. I just got my inTune today for my 05 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi and I had same error reading tire size also.

I also just purchased my inTune from a licensed CMR dealer today. The tire size calibration will not work on my 05 dodge ram 1500 5.7 Hemi as well. Will the update be posted on this particular blog? How do we find out about the progress in resolving the issue? I actually returned an Edge programmer for the same issue among other problems. Also, I was told that the 5.7 Hemi challenger tunes have a preset 91 octane option for both intake and exhaust. For some reason my it does not give this option for my truck. Will this preset option become available as I have both of these light mods installed. I will say compared to the Edge, the 91 octane tune is a much better balanced all around tune than the preset options on the Edge programmer. Thanks!

The challys get CAI tunes, since they lean out when you add a CAI. The trucks are not affected, thus there is no need for a specific tune...

Updates are announced here and they download to your tool automatically.

I wonder if the VIN/factory ID has anything to do with the inability to adjust for tire size. Mine doesn't work either (failure to read parameters) and it came out with 20" wheels for which there are very few choices as far as tires go so I don't need that option anyway... otherwise, thumbs up on my tuner! Works great on all functions

I've got the same problem on a 2004 Ram. "Error Reading Tire Size Parameter"
