Fuel economy tune? whens it comming out?

Just curious about when there will be a fuel economy tune out for the 5.7's? I know there is this option for other vehicles. I would really like to have the option for long drives or regular daily driving when I am not at the track.

The provided performance tunes are set up to improve mileage slightly on the highway already.
There is no need for a specific mileage tune, that is a marketing gimmick used by our competitors.

So which tune would be best for better mileage. Right now I just installed the perfomance CAI tune in. Got my CAI in today.

I have seen from .7 to 1.0 MPG increase with the Perfomance tune, even with my increased use of the right foot to test the tune.

Ditto with way .... I have a hard time saying this, but I DO get better gas mileage since the 93 CAI was installed. I have MDS off and my right foot IS planted more these days, but the mileage is up.

I've heard MDS does not harm your HP at all or even take off times? I'll probably never turn it off.

I don't think people turn it off for that reason. I may be wrong but from the posts I've read it's that nasty sound when it kicks in with an aftermarket exhaust.

They also turn MDS off when they have a cam that MDS can not handle.
