MAKE THE NOISE STOP!

I just loaded and installed the 8t16a revision to my u7135 and installed the CAI 91 Octane Performance program. It does not seem to address the high speed fan issues I have been having (max speed fan is on all the time and my engine temp only reads about 203 degrees) the settings say that it should not come on until 229ish, what gives? I still have the stock 195 thermostat and will change to a 180 shortly but that should not be my problem. I need some help here on getting the fans to work properly since all I can hear at the stop light is a Dash-8 turbo fan airplane engine on take off under my hood rather then the gentle rumble of my 6.1 HEMI.

PS. I have been told the stck thermostat is 203 not 195 sorry.

Sorry for leaving you hanging. I haven't been on here since this morning. Yes it is a 203* thermostat. The canned performance tunes have the temperature set @ approximately 190 for low speed fan, and somewhere around 199* for med and high fans. They have set these up to maintain the 203* as the thermostat is rated. You can modify this in Modify Performance Tune. I changed to the 180* thermostat shortly after receiving the tuner and it seems perfect.

The settings you are seeing that are 229ish, are these in the Modify Stock Tune? As that would be the factory setup. If you go into the performance tunes and choose modify tune you can go to each parameter and see where Diablo has them, change,or just hit escape instead of changing.

Thanks for your info BamaCSRT8. I appreciate the timely responce very much. I will give it a try the modify tune as you suggested. I thought that when I looked in this area (just getting used to the tuner) that they were set in the high 220s for high speed fan anyway and i thought that i did not change them. gettin late here so I will try it on Friday.
