car wont run with c & L CAI

my unit is the u7141 for the 2010 mustang. I have a 2010 mustang with the v6 4.0
a while back you guys sent me a custom tune for use with my c & l intake. I installed it and drove the car for a few months before putting the stock intake back on & installing a different tune. I decided to keep my car and put the CAI back on-----I downloaded the custom tune back on the car and now the car will not run. I can get it to start but it starts to buck and dies. If I remove the filter from the CAI and place my hand over the tube it runs fine. It also runs fine with the stock airbox. It is almost as if it is sucking too much air-----------any thoughts? Thank you so much for your time, any help will be appreciated.

couldnt locate any vacuum leak.. I am guessing it would have had to be with the C & L since the car runs fine with the stock airbox back on?

yes, anything related to the CAI install needs to be gone over twice.

tightened everything up, made sure everything is installed correctly. Car still dies and only keeps running if i block off some of the air at the filter tube. I can remove filter, cup my hand over the tube end and the car smoothes out & idles. I left customtune on (for c & l) put stock airbox back on & car runs fine.

post a copy of the current backup file here, with the stock tune I originally made you.

I dont know how to do any of that-----where do i get the files from and how do i post a copy? stock tune or cnl tune? Sorry to sound so helpless but i am not real tech savvy. Thanks for your help btw.

did you just export this backup from the tool, or was it something you had from before?

from before. the backup was from when i got the custom tune. the candl tune is the one that i recently downloaded onto my predator and am using now.

was the last file what you wanted? It is the backup off the predator.
