Just got back from the Friday dyno session. I ran into some issues though so if you can help please read on. Otherwise we ran AFR traces right before the cats. He hooked up a plug from the dyno to the car down there. AFR traces with the graphs will be coming hopefully today, but it sounds more like Monday he had two cars to do in-house after I left at 2:30.
Ran two base line runs again with the stock tune, 405rwhp and 409 respectively. With the correction factor off it was 393hp. I was pretty happy with that. Should have PDF and excel files for that today or Monday as well. Car looked to be running maybe a touch rich on the stock tune.
The problem came up once I loaded the Perf CAI tune. Ran two more pulls and got almost the exact same readings on the dyno. Same day, almost exact same time, double checked and re-loaded the tune just to make sure, NO ERROR codes or anything. Ran again and same results. So my problem is that I'm seeing almost nothing from the Predator. I know for sure I can feel a difference on the street, but I'm not sure if that's just from the TCM reset and Torque managment or what. You can tell from the graphs that the tune was there because the car was running leaner, but I wasn't seeing anymore hp.
BASELINE STOCK TUNE:
409rwhp corrected. (393rwhp uncorrected)
PERF CAI TUNE:
almost exactly the same
We tried reseting the TCM, raising shift points, raising the rev limiter and nothing would get anymore power. Also, just for fun we ran a couple of 1/4mile times got a 13.15 with a 1.95 60' time. I know it's not that accurate but I still thought it would be a little better. I then re-loaded the stock tune and tried running a 1/4mile the car would hit 2nd gear and about halfway through drop out of gear and go into what sounded like neatral because the engine would just take off and the speed would drop right off. Not sure what was up, anyone have a clue?
Car was staying nice and cool at 185* so we decided to do a few more power pulls. Car did the same thing as described above and would just drop out of gear, although the dash didn't reflect it. The engine would rev way up and the speed would drop way off. Decided to be done at that point and come ask you guys for help.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

RE: Couple Issues - need some advice
Just found out that I didn't turn ESP off through the Predator, could that be the reason for the car going into "limp" mode?
RE: Couple Issues - need some advice
In order for you to get a true reading on your car use your Diablo to turn the ESP off, this will put you into a dyno/emission test mode so that HAL is not pulling anything. Your readings are going to be off without doing this. Some will tell you to just push the button, but this does not disable it completly like the Daiblo will do. When you dyno again I bet you will be surprised to see a difference. Just remember to turn the ESP back on before you leave, because if you turn to hard LIMP MODE shows its ugly face.

Yeah, i would agree that ESP was an issue, and also, did you monitor KR on the dyno?
If there is excessive KR, the tune will not make more power than stock...
Thanks
