2008 Ram 1500 tuner

I have a 2008 Ram 1500 4.7L two wheel drive and i am looking to get a tuner for it but i am totally lost on what type of tuner would be best for my truck. If anyone has any ideas or info i would greatly appreciate the help

Predator, Trinity or inTune. Same tunes, doesn't matter. Predator is dying and will no longer be updated. inTune is the replacement for it. Trinity is the top of the line tuner, with full logging, monitoring, performance testing and the whole 9 yards.

any idea how much of a strain it will put on my engine? it has less than 54k on it so its pretty young. sorry if this may sound stupid to ask but im a complete noob at this. also any ideas of the rwhp and torque ill gain through the tune?

It doesn't put any strain on the engine. Mileage isn't important. I put a tune on my car with barely 1k miles on it, while others are running tunes with more then 200k miles.

We normally see 15-20rwhp and ft/lbs for basic tunes.

sweet thanks and other ideas for engine mods that would go well with my truck? also does anyone kno of and kits to convert my truck to 4x4?

If you want a 4x4 trade yours off for one. It will be less headaches and cheaper in the long run.
