You screwed up by not restoring the tune and you're upset with Diablosport? If you left another mod on the truck would you be able to use it on a new one? No you wouldn't. Same thing here. They aren't in business to give away tunes for free, and by leaving the tune on the old truck, thats exactly what you did. Now you wanna tune another vehicle, you pay for the unlock. Its just business. Its well k own and advertised that you buy the tuner for one vehicle at a time. Not two, not one you have and one you don't. For one vehicle at a time.

I'm sorry bud, but this is the only way that we can keep the public from tuning multiple vehicles with the same tool. I hope that you understand that without this safety precaution, we certainly would have had to close our doors a long time ago. Also, for what it's worth, a year or 2 ago, if this happened, the tool was done for. There was no reset option.

nothing for Mike_Levy to be supportive about man or to respond to him like that, he's totally right (see, I'm being supportive of him right now ;) )... you screwed up and are in the wrong, not hom or the tool... this is the way all handheld programmers work... you always have to restore original backup stock tune to the vehicle in order to unlock/reset it so that it can be used on a different vehicle... you can only tune one vehicle at a time... says it right on the product information pages, says it right in the user manuals...

if you don't want to pay to have it unlocked/reset, then go find your car, and restore the original backup stock tune to it - and that will unlock/reset the trinity for ya... ;)

I recently purchased the Trinity, and I thought you could tune more than one vehicle, without having to restore the stock tune. I made this purchase after only visiting your website, and didn't see anything that stated this was the case. I am not complaining, just thought I would mention this so you know he is not the only one. And you might modify the content a bit to make this more evident.
Again, not complaining or disappointed with my purchase, it is a great tool.

Think about the poor guy that bought that truck with a modified PCM that he didn't know about.
