Predator U7135 New Member Feedback

Received my Predator a few days ago from Tbyrne. Dowloaded the PDF manual from this site, installed 180 thermostat, and then performed initial installation "93 CAI Tune" for SRT Charger. It was much easier than I expected. I have had no issues and am very happy with the improved performance. Last night I tried to perform the adaptive learning reset from the programmer where I learned I needed an update from the site. I followed the instructions, returned the factory tune as directed, and downloaded the newest version u7135-8t16a. I am already pretty happy as is, therfore, any additional upgrade is a plus. I just wanted to say thanks!

** So with this said, I noticed the serial number on the sticker does not match the iternally provided number? Not sure if I registered the product correctly.

The serial number on the outside is the correct one to use during registration.

Going to re-install the CAI tune tonight with the new revision. From what I have read one of the improvements is better throttle response at lower speed. Sounds great because this is a true complaint of mine. I have been reading a lot regarding the fan control settings. I realize everyone has the abillity to fine tune their program but I think it works perfect. Perhaps it should be better communicated the tune is designed with a 180 thermostat in mind. I run 179 to 186 most of the time. I think I hit 190 for a brief momment after hard acceleration. My fans do not run any more than they used to. To be honest, I actually believe my fans are running less. The tune settings and thermostat are matched very well. Cant wait to install new version. Do you suggest resetting the adaptive memory at the time the new tune is installed? Does it matter? How can I find out just what the CAI tune changes? I was just curious how the tune compares to the B&G flash. What are peak but safe shift points and how close is the CAI tune to these points?,Thanks.
