I know that when installing the current update you have to restore the stock tune 1st. My question is "Does that apply to all updates in the future"? Also, is it necessary to plug the inTune into my computer to make sure that it has the latest updates before re-tuning/changing the tune in the car? Thanks.

I think it would be safer to just tune back to stock before updating your hand held, it has bitten us a couple of times now and if you know there is a large update then deffinately tune back to stock. If you are plugging in your inTune to check for updates it could already be to late if you downloader starts to install an update after it checks to see if there are updates.

It only takes a couple of minutes to get it back to stock, that's time well spent for a little insurance and not putting your car/truck down while Diablo gets you fixed up.

No, there wont be any need to restore the backup in the future updates
