If I have my diablo tune in my car and the battery dies does it reset the tune to the stock tune or does the diablo tune stay in the car?

Thanks,
Dustin

No the only way is restore original tune with Predator ,or have it flashed at the Dealer. If flashed at the dealer previous to restoring original tune with the Predator the Predator will no longer work and have to have Diablo Sport reset it for you.

Disconnecting or a dead battery will only require car to relearn idle and shifting if auto transmission.

Disconnecting battery, or dead battery, or installing performance, or reinstalling original factory tune, will also require the car to complete all OBD2 emission related tests. This can take several days to over a week depending on how and where, and how often you drive for all tests to complete.

This is called Emission Readiness Testing. These tests have to be complete for the vehicle to pass emissions on 1996 and later vehicles.
There is no way to know if tests have been completed without an OBD2 scanner !
