GM "G" Vin - Any ETA?

New truck, lift kit, tires and wheels.....waiting on proper tune for this thing I have sitting in a drawer cuz I have the "g" code.....

What is the "G" in the VIN represent that the current TCM support does not work with this specific vehicle? I am assuming it has something to do with the Cal's but not sure. Hear a lot of this lately on different forums and have no idea what it means.

its not TCM, in fact, most of the TCM cals in these trucks would be supported, but the G indicates a new PCM (E78 vs E38 in your truck) which to this point, I dont think anyone has support for.

I'm being as patient as possible but my 30 day money back guarantee is running out. I didn't realize the g code made a difference. My salesperson told me it would work. Just hoping the tune arrives in the next couple weeks!
