part# 264484 U7135
currently v.9r27
Predator 2005-2009 LX/LC/SRT-8
This unit was purchased originally on 10/15/2010
I want to downgrade this unit to V.9r23 to change CalID so my 2009 RT6 speed will not hesitate.
Where can I get the v.9r23.crom file? all the files on your site are empty except for revision V.9r30. I want to return my car to stock, before Chrysler messed up the Calid with their flash updates on my Computer.
thank you.
You can message me the link if you prefer not to show it here.

You can't downgrade. The Predator won't let you.

if it was built with 9r23 or older, it may let you go back...but I dont understand why you are trying to do this?

Hi Mike. It has been found that there has been a throttle hesitation
Created in our 6 speed challengers when chrysler reflashed our
Computers with CALID EF.
It has also been docovered that if you roll back the CALID to AE the
hesitation goes away. Is there any way that DiabloSport can creat a special
Challenger. 6 speed update that has all of the options of the
V.9r30 but utilizing the AE CALID. I will definately test it on my car.
I wish I also had a backup of the tune that my march 2009 challenger came
with originally. Chrysler will do nothing for us. My car ran perfectly
When I bought it but now it has the hesitation. I just want my original stock tune back.
Thats why. Now is it even possible to make a new update, and how much
Will it cost for me to buy as a special tune.
Thx again. Rick
M
P.S. my unit will not downgrade lower than v.9r27 :0(

Quoted from Challengertalk accelleration delay thread...
And what a solution it is! The more I drive my car, the more I notice just how much better CalID AE is. Not only is the 4th, 5th and 6th gear throttle response 100% fixed, but shifting smoothness through ever gear has improved. Backing into my driveway no longer requires me to "hunt" for an RPM that is high enough so that the car doesn't stall. Now, my car does exactly what my right foot tells it to do, and when to do it.Â

Thank you terraform! (Screw you Fiat/Chrysler!)

yup, we're aware of that, its not that easy to go backwards, it is being investigated.

Perfect. Thanks a lot Mike.
Note i installed the v.9r30 91 performance tune and set throttle boost
To 20% and it helped a lot. I will test it further on the highway
When i can.
Thx again
Rick

The lag is a lot better with the 91 tune, but its still there in the higher gears. But I guess you know that already...

My car is still not working properly. I guess I will have to buy another older predator so I can downgrade to 9r.23 CALID.

(
too bad I just couldn't update or should I say downgrade my current tuner.
