2011 Camaro SS - Not Starting

DiabloSport sent me an email saying there was an update to the trinity (1R09). I restored my car to the stock tune and now the car won't start. The tuner says that "I cannot connect to the PCM, make sure the key is in the ON position". The Camaro gives me two messages "Service Park Assist and Service Stabilitrak". I downloaded the new update and installed it to the trinity and it is still giving me the same message on the trinity and the camaro. PLEASE HELP, I have work on Monday morning, and Roadside Assistance can't get here until the afternoon on Monday.

Is the key in the ON position? Did you key OFF before you tryed to start it?

Yes, I have tried to do it over and over again the right way in the ON position, OFF position, tried to start it, still nothing. Car won't turn over (crank) and the Trinity keeps saying that it cannot connect to the PCM.

again, gotta call diablo tech support monday morning, 9am eastern time... no one's around until then to help you man... work week is Mon - Fri... no work on the weekends man...

try disconnecting your negative battery cable from the battery in the trunk for about 30 minutes... reconnect it and see if she starts up... if not, gotta call tech support Monday morning... nothing else you can do until then...

any aftermarket electronics installed in the car, like aftermarket stereo, subs, amps, NAV, satellite radio, alarm, etc???

if there is, they need to be disabled/disconnected... anything and everything aftermarket, that did not come from the factory, has to be disabled/disconnected/pull the fuses for 'em....

then try the install... and make sure the key is turned to the ON position, but engine not started/running... and parking brake on... and nothing turned on inside the car - radio off, fan/blower/a-c off, etc etc...

if after doing all of that it's still no-go, then you're SOL and gotta wait til Monday man...

I will call them Monday morning, not a problem. As far as your battery disconnect trick goes, is it the whole piece that connects to the negative end or is it the little plug that is connected to the negative cable. I sent a picture to [email protected] to what I think the piece is. Either way I will give it a try and hopefully it works. I don't have any aftermarket electronics installed on the vehicle. Please let me know if you can about the battery and where to disconnect it at.

By the way just want to let everyone know that my help and trouble ticket have been continued by email and, I am getting tons of help from Monte, on a Sunday, that is freaking OUTSTANDING.

Update on the situation:

I called Roadside Assistance and they had a tow truck ready for me Monday morning. They towed the vehicle to a local dealership. The ECM was fried and that is the reason the car did not start. They replaced the ECM for free because it is under warranty and now I can pick my car back up.

I'm glad they fixed it for free, but I promise it was not 'fried'....

I did not call you guys about the issue because it was during a weekend, and the dealer fixed it first thing on Monday morning. Another update to the situation, I used my trinity two nights ago to put the tune back on and it worked successfully and is still working.
