2005 Kodiak C5500 no ECU found

After searching your web site I found that the Kodiak is listed in your new tunes. The connector I recieved with the Diablosport was a rectangular one, my Kodiak also has a round connector. Do I need a round connector?

Round connector? On a 2005? Only OBD-1 has round connectors and older BMWs for their oil computers. You must have a rectangle connector someplace. Otherwise its not an 05, not ODB-2 and certainly not a CAN-BUS compatible protocol.

Yeah, you should be plugging into the OBDII port under the dash, they are the same for every vehicle from 96-current, as mandated by federal law....
