my crappy powerstroke

here's a copy of the email I sent to mike hopefully someone can help :)


I have some question's and concern's I was hoping you would be able to help me with. first of all the diablo tuner is Super sweet, ton's of power more then stock, and easy to use, my largest concern is the accelerator pedal, having a hotspot in the middle of it. in the diagnostic's the pedal voltage constantly rise's when I hit it, but while driving there seem's to be more power at about 1/2 throttle then full throttle...
also I have the famous 10k mod ( of course I don't use it with the predator ) does your tuner affect the icp at all? or is the 1211 code coming up just because the pressure is to low?? does the tuner affect injector timing at all? I believe my last concern was another forum post where a guy was saying he was towing with the 85 horse tune and seem's to not go over on the pyro, so could he continue to tow with it, and the answer was just don't do it ... any specific reason why?? oh and the failsafe you need a password for, what that? ... and the blank menu item just below :)
is there a hot tune available for this truck?? 2001 f-350 7.3 litre diesel 6 speed.
7r19d is my version number not sure if there is any updates for me :)

the biggest disapointment was on the dyno ... a few guy's with stock 7.3's 2001 and 2002 hit 208hp and 207hp respectively with no tuners just straight pipes, and with a big air intake big free flowing exhaust I only hit 255hp( hopefully the pedal thing is most of the problem.

another problem is p1316 keep's coming up do you have any solution's for that? could that be my horsepower problem? "injector driver module codes"

The 1211 code is normal in 7.3 with a tune.

holy smokes.... that big ass email and NO answers .... hmmmmmm thanks a bunch.... I'm glad I paid 325 canadian for this tuner and I'm sure that will be the last one I will ever buy!
