Before I got my Predator I was hitting the rev limiter on the 1-2 upshift for a few seconds before the tranny would change gears ... now that I have the Predator with the 93/CAI tune (raised shift points, tcm reset) the 1-2 problem went away but now im getting the rev limiter around 120 mph (wasnt paying attention but thats what the 3-4, or 4-5 shift?). I saw a post about bumping up the rev limiter so I upped it by 300. Guess what, STILL doing it ... but instead of bouncing 2-3 times and going yesterday it didnt seem to want to shift and for fear of breaking something I let off.
Does ANYONE have an idea as to what is going on?
Should I try to log a run and post the results ... could it not be getting enough fueld? Ive never had a big V8 before and am used to the tach bouncing off the redline quickly -- this is more of a soft bounce, almost like its getting a fuel cut?
