I did a dyno run and found the Performance tune was running a bit lean at over 13. Close to 14 above 5K rpm.

Ideal would be around the high 12's.

to bad we can't put in what mods we have in our car and the diablo produces the best tune / tunes for those installs. That would be ideal.
07 CHARGER R/T: 6.1L Cam, springs, & rods, Dynatech headers W/ Hi-Flow Cats, AFE CAI, Catch Can, Flowmaster Catback, Jet 180 T-Stat, Hotchkis Sways. All installed by myself, I paid no one for installation of any mods.
Future mod wishlist: Pedders suspension, heads, bigger cam, LC-1, & Nitrous.

with exhaust and intake my car shows a constant 14.3 AFR using the data viewer.. i thinks its a bit lean hopefully once my tuner works it'll richen up a bit :).

didnt test it yet bro! will do it in an hours time.

im no expert but what i gather is that the AFR (air fuel ratio) is an indication of how much fuel your putting .. higher the number means less fuel heance lean.. lower is more fuel hence rich.. best is to maintain 12.5-12.8 iirc (for our cars)..

my car is at 14 so its lean by most standards but not bad in any way, hopefully using the diablo it'll come down a notch :).

14.7 is what your shooting for at part throttle conditions! 12.1 at wide open throttle! Be carefull! You can damage things if your not!

Are you sure you're looking at your AFR at wide open throttle? Which PID are you looking at? Open Loop FA?

I haven't heard of anyone being even remotely close to 14.3 with just an exhaust, intake, and one of the canned tunes. Are you running one of the CAI tunes or the standard canned tune (no CAI in the file name)?

Keep in mind that your aftermarket intake will skew the readings and render the AFR reading in the Data Viewer extremely inaccurate. This is according to Johan @ Diablosport who is the one that did all of the 5.7 and 6.1 tuning.

10SECS4, those are cruising values for AFR.. at WOT it dips to 12.35-12.5, also my car is not tuned with Diablo.. coz so far my CAL ID is not supported and as of latley looks like diablo dont want to be bothered with me anyways...

sorry for any misunderstanding.

Folks, I spoke with DS on the phone in regards to getting a good Loggable AFR from the PIDs available and we cannot do it.

The narrowband sensors on the car cannot accurately read your AFR - yes, it is confusing that there is a big, handy guage that says it is AFR, but it is "guessing" based on info from the narrow band sensors.

You will need to use a Wideband sensor to accurately measure AFR, and target AFR at WOT is 12.3, while 14.75 is just fine for idling, coasting where fuel is trimmed.

I was really hoping we could use Just the Tool, for a complete tuning solution, but with narrow band sensors we cannot get a reliable reading, period.

I have decided to install an autometer wideband in my car so I can always tune for wherever I run.

At least we can use the PIDs for adjusting WOT spark

This condition was caused by the UI of the predator when adding fuel -/ +. Apparently it was backwards. When they thought they where adding fuel they where actually removing it. Apparently it has been fixed and is in the new update. Has nothing to do with mods...
