Changing the Predator to different car. Possible?

I purchased the Predator for my 2007 Corvette and used it on the car then went to an HP Tune so its not being used for that Vette anymore. The question is I also have a C5 with an LS1 I wanted to use it on but cant get it to connect. Is it still locked to the C6? or can it be reset so it can be used on the C5.

Any help would be appriciated

well, 2 scenarios...

1. if you DID restore the original backup to your 07 Vette first, and it still won't work on the C5, then your C5 may require a different model predator, in which case no - you can't use that one and you would have to buy a different one.

2. if you DID NOT restore the original backup to your 07 Vette first, then yes - the Predator is still locked to it and can NOT be used on the C5... BUT, if that same model predator CAN be used on your C5, then you'll have to send it back to Diablosport and pay them $100 to have it unlocked, and THEN you can use it on the C5.

They are different models. The C5 uses U7198 and the C6 U7194.
