2012 Silverado - Diablo Tune Questions

Post by BigJ »

Shouldn't the pre-installed diablo tune remove the stock speed limiter? It did on my 2011, but it's not working on my 2012. I have not found an option to delete it via the change stock tune method either.

Also, I've selected the "firm shifts" option for the TCM tune and it's acting a little strange. Seems like its struggling a little to get in and out of gears under normal driving, and sporadic firm shifts under heavy acceleration. My 2011 shifted nice and tight under this setting, and would roast the tires going into second. Best I can get now is a little chirp, half the time.

Stock PCM & TCM files attached. Any help appreciated.

limiter needs to be turned off manually in the adjustable parameters...

can you post the last tune written TCM file? Are you using the latest revision?

Thanks

TCM Tune File attached.

I'm using this version:
CROM version = 'gm_can_gas-1r09 06/05/2012 12:09:48 PM boot3'.

So, after i've got the tune installed, I just go into the parameters and turn off the limiter? I have not seen an option to turn it off.. Assuming I find it, doing this won't over-ride the tune that's already installed?

Thanks for the help!
