Intune goes into Remote Control Mode, Why?
Intune goes into Remote Control Mode, Why?
When I plug my Intune to my PC it will automatically go to "Remote Control Mode" and the center spins around the D.S. logo as if it is trying to load or send data. I cannot back out of it. Then I unplug it and reconnect and it resumes back to the "Remote Control Mode". The top of the Intune reads RPC the bottom says "Thank You"? Why is the Intune doing this?

do you have dataviewer open on your computer?
RE: Intune goes into Remote Control Mode, Why?
Mine does that when I have the Dataviewer open as well. Just disconnect it when it connects to the DV software.

I have DataViewer 3.3 and DSLogRedux. It happens when I have DataViewer running, but not when I boot up the Intune by itself. It started to happen after the last update. Priro to the last update I always opened DataViewer first while booting up the Intune.mikel wrote:what software is running onthe PC?

The Intune says its up to date with:
Firmware: lr02b
Gm: lr0lh
What is the difference between the DataViewer and DSDownloader?

Yes, but prior to the last update I had no issues with both DataViewer 3.3 and Intune running at the same time.JonDiablosport wrote:do you have dataviewer open on your computer?
The "Remote Contro Mode" occurs when the Intune and DataViewer are running at the same time or the DataViewer is started after Intune has booted. In either case, I have to unplug the Intune for the "Remote Control Mode" to stop.
Once I unplug the Intune and reboot its fine as long as DataViewer is not running.
This does not occur with DSLogRedux software running with the Intune.

DVs job is to connect to any of our tools that are plugged in, so this is totally normal behavior...
