Suggestions for tuning..

Post by Insults »

I've got a 2004 Chevy 2500HD 6.0L lifted 9" on 37's, 4.10 gears, K&N intake and true dual exhuast also..

I run the 87 octane tune, and the only parameters i've really messed with is the tire size and injector slope (I've got it at -1). Do you have any suggestions for other things i could mess with to get the most out of the engine.. for example there's a option to have it run more lean or more rich, should i leave that alone?, same with shift points, etc. Any suggestions on what i should adjust would be helpful..

The best suggestion I could give you is get a custom tune from Lew (06MonteSS). He can hook you up with all your needs in a tune. His custom tunes are awesome.

If you want to do it yourself, I'll let others chime-in for their suggestions.
