Are there any setting to improve or ajust the reaction time of the paddle shifters on a 2006 corvette A6?

Do you have paddles, or just the stupid buttons on the back of the wheel? If you still have just the buttons, contact S2T and get a set of real paddles. It won't make them any quicker, but its much better to use. www.s2tpp.com I think. I have them on my V and would never ever go back to the reatrded buttons.

is your intune all up to date with the latest updates?

restore original backup stock tune to the vehicle.. then connect the intune to your windows PC and let the auto-updater run...

once all of the updates are done, then reconnect to your car and reinstall one of the tunes - and see if it asks you to select a TCM tune to install as well...

if not, then it may be that your TCM calibration ID is not supported - in which case, it should save a backup copy of your tcm original backup file.. then connect to your pc after the tune install, and go into the TUNES folder on the intune drive and see if there's a TCM backup file in there.. '

if so, make a post up on the forums, and attach that tcm file to the post, and let them know that you need to have support added for your TCM...

they will make a new intune update to add support for your particular tcm calibration ID and post it up when it's available... at which point you would download it, and update your intune with it... and then you should have TCM support for your car...

;)

Intune does not read unsupported TCM files yet, like Trinity does.

I asked him for his info.xml in the other thread so we can see his TCM calids and add them that way assuming they are current from GM.

Thanks

blue2006.........................that makes No sence at all............I have a 2006 A6 and have been using the InTune.........93 tune with TCM firm shift for months..

Mikel....what do you mean "Intune does not read unsupported TCM files yet" for a 2006 Corvette.... why would you say that......?

am i missing something?

IMO........reaction time of the paddle shifters....is still WAY BELOW what they should be, even with a 93 and hard shift tunes installed.......

PLEASE give C6 Corvette A6's an option to improve paddle reaction time........

2 paddle reaction time choices would be great...a 1 sec delay....and a instant shift.. my wifes Madza Rx8 A4 Paddle shift in sport mode is crazy...its instant shifting.........you can actually snatch second gear and outside the car you would thing it was a manual........its awsome.........

come on InTune Tuners..........improve the reaction time of the paddle shifters way way more......

Please read this http://www.diablosport.com/forum/viewto ... 44&t=42300

When I tune the car I only get ECm no TCM tunes, depending on the software ver. of the car the Intune does not have the older TCM calibration ID or tables, they are working on getting those to me.

One option is to have the dealer check if you have the latest updates; If you read the above link I am not alone in this.
you will see it makes sense,

Ok...........I understand now.................sorry.......

I did take my car to the dealership for the ECM and TCM updates BEFORE I used my InTune........it cost me 85.00 for the diag....no charge for software updates...:-)

there is a ECM and TCM....... TSB updates....

get the dealership to update you're car.........those alone will help alot...i noticed the difference at once...really

Now..............Get those Paddle Shifters to shift TIGHTTTT

This thread seems to have died ...

so here goes:

I have '06 with an LS2 and A6 trans w/ a CAI.

I got a DS for Christmas. It should be fully updated. I have the 'standard' TCS 3-position button - not the dial (don't know if that option was even available on the '06)

In reading this thread - seems we didn't get a full answer

I too can only reference the 91 Octane Tune and the DS Tune. I understand there is a 93 Octane Tune and a CAI Tune as well

Do I have to get any ECU updates from the dealer to access these?

Here's the header from the info.xml file (VIN and serial number redacted - will send file via PM if I get a response)
