How is a custom tune better then a canned tune?

What are the difference between a canned tune and a tune from a customer seller?
Is that they can use the data log to fine tune the tune?
If no other changes are made are they about equal?

Every motor is unique. They wear different, run different, have different mods, etc. The custom tune is set for your setup only. It it made to work in your car with the best possible settings. The canned tunes are a generic tune that will work across the boards with everyone's setup.

Well worth the custom tune from Lew IMO...

I felt as much difference in his custom tune as i did when i originally installed the Intune... was that big of a boost, would go as far as saying you aren't using the unit to its potential unless you spend the extra little for a custom tune. Cant even begin to list the amount of little changes, all i can say is it's too much fun to drive now, cruise control isn't used at all now on the back highways the vehicle is so responsive and fun to drive... cant wait till they set up the multi vehicle support and Lew will have another tune to do

yes, the custom tuning is done using diablosport's CMR tuning software (it's like hptuners/efilive)... using that software, it gives diablosport custom tuners (like me), full access to everything in a tune file, not just the parameters that you, the end-user, has available to you via the tool.

I know when I do custom tunes for people, I change MANY things that are not even available to the end-user via the tool, so yes, a custom tune can do a lot more than just the preset canned tunes, and more than what you can do yourself via the tool interface.
