Hi,

I have a friend with a Chrysler 300c 5.7l which have some questions.

He used intune but he cannot find any 91 octane tunes. Only have Diablo tune, CAI tune (so 93 octane) and MPG Booster tune available, so why he can't find 91 ?

Also he would like to know more about how to disable EGR on his car using intune, any idea ?

FYI, intune is updated and running last 1r02c

Thanks for your help,

My side I used my intune on my Jeep GC SRT8 with success !

sounds like maybe its an export vehicle?

there was not room to add 91 tunes for all the export calibrations, so they just get 93...

EGR cannot be disabled by end-users. Its illegal in the US to mess with any emissions equipment. CMR dealers can do it if they choose, and if they get fined, its their problem

Ok thanks guys,
So that's mean it's not allowed in the intune, I thought it was because I read it was in Predator so ...
Can you confirm ?
Thanks

it was in predator years ago, has been removed for at least 3 years now, as per the EPA.

Thanks

Its not in the Predator any more either. Was removed in mid-2009 (rev 9r12, now its 9r30). The only way to do it is to find a CMR dealer who is willing to make a tune with it disabled.

Dammut, Mike stole my answer.
