I was wondering if the GM TCM support would get "shift time" adjustments added any time in the near future or will it stay as a CMR/custom tune option only? Thanks for any insight and this option would be awesome if y'all could get it added to the inTune.

we set shift time to the quickest allowable setting in the canned tunes, so all you could really do is slow it down?

Okay, but, it will give us more flexibility in tuning our TCM at the user level. But, I'm guessing that's a no then.

uhhh, no they're not... I've adjusted them more and gotten them quicker
have had a lotta people ask me about being able to do that too....
about being able to adjust that shift time stuff on their own, cuz they don't like it as fast as it is, would like it slower but just a little quicker than stock, or just want to play around with it to get it exactly how they want it, etc....

hmm...either way Im not sure that its something that can be made into a parameter.
we always used to set them to the fastest speed (class2) and there was no need to adjust.

I think it's something worth asking the software guys about.

Yeah, theres a delay, but its fine. Gives me a half a second to lift before the shifts so I don't rip the tires.

Mike Levy, your running a CTS V though, we are running none supercharged 5.3's in trucks. We can use a little more capability/added functionality to the end user TCM support tuning. It might help you as well, you might be able to add just a tad more time between shifts to eliminate having to lift to keep from breaking the tires loose.
