Considerable drop in fuel mileage moving from r17 to r19...

Post by rtprestw »

I noticed this weekend a considerable drop in mileage with the latest update r19 from the previous r17. This is going by the automatically calculated MPG not verified the manual way. This was the exact same trip, starting with a full tank and aprox same speed. No other changes have been made to the truck. The previous MPG auto calculated was ~18.5 and now its ~14.5. Any ideas?

Feedback was requested with the r19 release when it was initially posted, so here goes. Besides the fuel mileage issue I have not experienced any engine light codes related to the injector pressure issue or any other codes for that matter. Additionally I have not experienced any issues related to engine surge as others have experienced. I will admit the accelerator pedal is more sensitive than it was with the factory tune and “mayâ€
