Need assistance

I'm new to this "Programer" thing ,pretty old school, anyways I own a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4x4 with 373 gears. I installed a 6" BDS lift with 35 Nittos and the exhaust is a Gibson Sport dual rear.
Question is, I have owned a 2008 with a 5.3 which I did the exact same thing to and it would scream, I figured changing to the 6.0 in the 2500 it would be a beast, instead I have a (Lazy Dog), it feels like it has less power/torque and the throttle responce is sh*%%y.
I called around and several individuals told me I needed a programer and a CAI. I contacted AutoAnything and they set me up with a programer and a CAI , I purchased a In Tune Tuner I 1000 and a Valant CAI for it. The Tuner came in and I waited to install it till my CAI arrives (supposed to be here tomorrow
) but during the wait I started reading the several forms in the Chevrolet and on here. While looking at the In Tune programer, the installiation and the updates (will need assistance when that time comes) and i noticed it would not work for a truck my year with the letter G as the eight chacter in the Vin.....Yea I looked (Da*n) and sure enough mine has the " G". A lot of forms talk about a guy they call "Lew or Lue"? I thought some one said on a form he sells the tuner with programs that will wake the beast. If some one knows how to contact him I would appreciate it.
Now I'm waiting to see if AutoAnything will take the programer back and I hope I dont have to eat the $$$$
