issue on 2012 charger srt8

i installed the 91 tune fine and raise the shift points with no problem. when i loaded the 93 tune and tried to raise the shift points it said updated but when it went to install the tune it said pcm unlock error(-18). any idea why its not working?

i have the same problem but my car does not run anymore.
the trinity backed up my original backup and i picked the 93 oct. tune to upload, it made it through the key cycle at the end. then i got and error message (pcm error ctrl resetting) write fail (-18)

the trinity wanted me to upload the original backup since the 93 oct. tune failed, so i tried and this failed too with the same error and now the trinity is stuck on trying to get the backup in the car. and i cant access the trinity other than to fail uploading, it just keeps restarting.
what the hell do i do? the car is 2 weeks old and only has 450 miles on it.
the battery voltage was 12.6v when i tried the upload, i even tried a booster to 13v and still no go.
i tried unhooking the battery for an hour, still didnt do anything.

im dead in the water here and need help.

im trying to get the car towed to the dealer so they can dig into it, since their is no tune in the car it runs for 2 seconds then shuts off.

Before you have it towed and get the dealer involved, Call DiabloSport Monday morning. They will get it going.

i dont know man, the trinity is stuck in some kind of loop with the original backup. it writes, fails, then restarts. it wont let me do anything else. i dont think it can be fixed over the phone. it dont think it can be reset or i will lose my backup since its on the trinity.
all i know is im done with handheld tuners after this. i have hand nothing but bad luck with the intune and trinity. i cant afford to have this happen again if its even fixable.
im not trying to put diablo down, i have just been unlucky and im ready to snap.

That is exactly what happend to my car 300c srt8 2012, and Mike@diablosport was in doubt...Dealer will immediately know that the pcm was written and played with and might void warranty....do not take it to dealer and wait for Diablosport support.
Just post your Calid #, Vin# and Trinity serial #, it might help.
Mike@diablosport said he will check mine and come back to me....still waiting.

i have EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE.

I have an australian delivered 300 srt8 2012.

i tried to write the 93 tune and it failed due to the write fail message. then it went to try to reinstall the backup which kept failing and going on in a loop until randomly it completed somehow.

unfortunately the car will STILL not run properly.

it will start. but then try to 'die' and then restart again and so forth every few seconds. when i have it in the key in the 'run' position but not starting the engine, i seem to get a sound like the fuel pump keeps priming which goes on and on and on.

COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF IS THIS. i need my car. didnt expect this to be such an utter failure when the predator worked so well on the previous model!

Same for me man, I am freaking out. I tried everything I could think of w/in my ability, but to no avail.

im not having those kind of problems luckily. mine still installs any of the tunes fine just not raising the shift points on the 93 tune. i think they released these tunes to early. not enough R&D done. mines off the road for the winter so i just put the stock tune in and im done with this for now

the dealer knows all about it, i bought everything from them including the car about a week ago. i just had a problem with the intune in my last charger and the dealer covered it. i went to the dealer for an intune and ened up leaving without a car.
at this point im fed up with doing any kind of anything to these new cars. i just want to be able to drive my brand new car.

so does anyone from diablosport know if this problem can be fixed with a simple reflash of the PCM to stock? can they do this at the dealers?

if diablosport doesnt get back to me soon i will have to have my car towed to the dealer and get them to fix it. i need my car.

they will probably charge me an arm and a leg to fix it ... and then void any further warranty claims!!!!!!!!

as you can tell i am seriously f**ked off right now.

based on my previous good experiences with the predator and gen1 srt8, i decided this was a low risk thing.. and guess what... my car is f**ked up.

no answer yet from diablo for 24 hours now since my email to them.

not an isolated problem. as there are people on here with exactly the same issue.

U guys busy, cause iv been on hold for almost 20 min......I have a huge problem with my 12 SRT8 and it wont start now....My trinity updated on its own when i hooked it up to my PC....and i lost the 12 Dodge update.....and it wont update and when i hook up to my car it gives me a PCM lockout....ERROR.....I try loading the 12 dodge crom file...but my trinity will not accept it
