Siverado pinging...5.3L

I just purchased another Silverado with the 5.3L and moved my Predator from my other truck to this one.
So my new truck pings when I give it gas under light load just before it downshifts. BTW it has a single in dual out Flowmaster and a CAI (Not sure of brand right now)

So what I did was:
1. Install 87 Octane tune and data log a run on the freeway in top gear, about 2200 rpm, and about 70mph... DSLogRedux said -1% Injector Slope. So I modified the tune -1%.--------Seems like the ping went away (hard to tell with my wipers wiping so frantically.. lots of rain)
2. Ran another log in 3rd gear, 2400 rpm, 55mph...DSLogRedux said +3% Injector Slope. Did nothing
3. Ran another log at 4th gear (top gear), 2100 rpm, 68mph... DSLogRedux said +1% Injector Slope... This would put me right back where I started..

What am I doing wrong? What should I do next? What are the best conditions (gear, rpm, etc.) for logging?

I just want to get rid of the pinging, can somebody help me out?

PS. The gas is currently 87 octane from Costco.. I added a 108 octane booster.. and a small bottle of LucasOil Fuel system treatment added as well.

sure its not going in and out of MDS?

its not likely to knock at light throttle, and if it is, you can see it in the logs

Not sure what MDS is and what am I looking for in my log regarding KR? Some of the readings seemed erratic, to me at least.

If you mean DoD by MDS it is turned off... BTW I have a 2007 NNBS Silverado.

OK.. so I cleaned my MAF yesterday and also tightened all the connections on the CAI, they were all loose. Maybe thats why my logging data seemed erratic...
So I made another logging run, and DSLogRedux said I need to Adjust Injector Slope +7%... I modified my tune and I'll rerun it tonight.. Does this sound correct to you guys?

Should I reset my computer and relog or just try the +7% and relog?
