Few issues with E version Tune.. 2012 SRT Charger

I installed the E version last night.. I got a few question..
At first I got a error that voltage was too low to installed.
I was told by a friend he had the same error and he ran his car for 5 mins then reinstalled with no problems.
I did the same thing... and I was able to install tune..

1)Was that normal.. ? Never had that issue with the B version tune...

The B version I had did not have the MDS or the Raise shift option.. The E version did..
So after I installed the E version I went to modified 93 Tune Parameters.

I click yes on MDS to make sure MDS stood on..,. and I click raise shifts pts..
All it said shift pts were raised... It did not give me the option to pick a spot..

2) Is that normal ??? ..

It stated to raise Rev limit.. My Rev limit in drive was already set to 6600
However my in Neutral limit is at 0..

3) what should I do there..?

Now When I went to install 93 tune with modified parameters I got these errors..

I drove the car for about 40 mins and I still got this error when I went to install 93 tune with modified parameters.

4) Please advise..

I got the same error code. I tried adjusting the 93 Octane before installing and got it. I then went back and installed w/o the adjustments. All went well. I then went in and made those adjustments to the canned 93 while it was already installed and all was well.

I had a car in the shop testing this stuff today.

Looks like the -18 is random and only happens if you try to do quick adjust changes at the same time as loading the tune, we're sorting it out.

I've gotten the -18 error will modifying the Diablo 91 tune for my R/T wth the C and E loads.

My work around has been to make the changes to the Diablo tune, and if it asks you to upload, say no. Back out the the tune pick menu and reselect your modified Diablo tune. And upload it immediately. Has worked for me. Your mileage may vary.

Some other quirks:

If you modify shfit to more firm it uploads immediately without asking.
If you modify throttle boost or MDS off and it asks to upload immediately is when I get the -18 error.
If you modify shift firmness, it uploads right away, then you try to re upload the modified tune you will get a -18 error.

so you guys are saying to write the tune first, then make adjustments, then rewrite the tune?

lol. that never worked for me. both times i had a very expensive brick sitting in my garage..... i only tried to upload the canned tune without making any adjustments at all before hand.

with the b revision... i could do anything without a problem.. something has been changed in c and d to fuck my car up. so.... im still waiting for a definitive answer... and also waiting for the chorus of 'my car is fucked' to die down completely before ever trying again.

1r09e is the fix for the issue you had. There will be a new 1r09f this week as well, based on the testing I did yesterday.
