CMR Support for 2011+ Dodge Gas Vehicles?

Post by joemosfet »

I almost picked up a kit to supercharge my Hemi, but found out that CMR doesn't fully support 2011+ yet?

Any ETA on full mapping and injector control for 2011+ 5.7 Dodge, specifically Charger?

Thanks.

this is the most time consuming part of what we do, so no ETA yet....lets guess 45-60 days.

No ETA, roger that.

It *is* coming, though, right? If I make my supercharger purchase, it is only a matter of time before I can use it?

Mike,
So if I am just a DiabloSport customer, not a licensed tuner of Diablosport or a vendor, can I send a logged tune from my InTune i1000-DCX to diablosport to have it looked at and see if the canned 91 octane tune is getting me the most power? It seems the car is running a bit rich so I thought someone could look at the logging of my 91 tune and see if it is too rich or some other parameters should be tweaked.

I heard that the OL FA pid for 11 and 12 follows wideband readings pretty well. have not had the opportunity to see for myself.

going to be tuning an 11 Ram that has wideband installed, and plan to check this out.

on a totally stock vehicle, commanded will often be very close to actual, but even a CAI can alter that....

right, but even on a stock vehicle, there can be variances between commanded OL afr in the tune and actual afr on wideband.

on most vehicles I have tuned WOT fuel on, the OL FA PID to log seems to show commanded afr more than actual afr. noticed that early in my CMR venture.

after seeing the variances between OL FA PID and wideband readings, I decided a wideband is a must for proper WOT fuel adjustment.

kind of a bummer. if the OL FA PID was more reliable, it would make WOT fuel tuning easier.

have seen OL FA PID follow wideband afr pretty well on a couple SRT-8's.

You are correct it does only reflect commanded. Thats all it is afterall, bascially a reference. It's dependant upon quite a few factors that change when you start touching stuff on the engine that effect it's airflow, fuelflow etc...

So technically it will never be able to be used as an actual reading and shouldn't have ever been for those reasons.

Never try to interpret what it's saying vs using a wideband. This will jsut lead to headaches and failures
