U7144 Cannot restore original tune

I bought my Predator a few months back from a local guy. I installed the Predator Performance tune and it worked great. I received a custom tune about a week ago and I loaded it onto the Predator to flash it. Loading it on the tool went fine, no issues or warnings. I went out to the car and pulled fuses #46 and #61 per the instructions and plugged the Predator in. I went through the procedure, picked custom tune and it started flashing. A few seconds later it failed and asked to restore the original tune. I chose "Yes" and it went on for a few minutes, eventually saying "Cannot restore original tune." I've tried 4 or 5 times. My car won't even turn over, the odometer reads ------, and I need to drive this car to work. Please advise.

I already spoke with you on the phone about this on Thursday morning. I ended up buying a used PCM because I needed my car right away. What do I need to do to get the Predator unlocked so I can use it with the new PCM?

FYI: The Predator had 8r2 on it. I just updated it to 9r5 and it flashed the stock tune back immediately. I really wish you had told me to try that on Thursday morning, as I wouldn't have missed half a day of work and spent $150 on a used PCM. This will be my first and last Diablosport product, I'm glad I only paid $100 for it.

We never advise anypne to update a married tool, as it generally leads to more problems thn it fixes.

I cant even imagine how a tool that old took 9r05, but if it worked, good deal.

I will caution you, the 'other guys' seem to have even more issues flashing these cars. Anyone who has flashed more than a few SVT foci will tell you they are notorious for having flash problems, and FWIW the Predator is the most stable tool available for flashing these odd ball PCMs.

Thanks
