tcm firm tune silverado

I read another thread on here where the owner had the same issues as I am having. I have a 2011 Silverado 5.3 6L80 and I have the 87 tune installed and the firm shift TCM tune installed. Truck shifts fine at part throttle, but the WOT shifts are very harsh. Lew had said that maybe the CAL ID on the TCM was not supported.
I just wanted to make sure that it is supported before I try to modify the line pressures for the shifts. These are my tune files.

Thanks!
Dave

since you were able to select and install a tcm tune, yes your tcm calibration ID is supported... if it wasn't, you would not have been able to...

That's what I figured but just like the other guy on here, I was given the option of firm, hard, or modify stock and from what I understood from that thread was that if it was supported we should also have had the option of stock tune for TCM. Maybe I understood wrong. I dropped the WOT pressures by 5% and tomorrow morning on my way home from work I am going to try a WOT run and see if its any better.

Alright, as of this morning it is much better with the pressure reduced. Even at a 10 mph rolling start, it broke the tires loose, spun them in second and chirp them in third without being too rough. It will work for now, until I get that custom tune from you. Thanks!

cool ;)

yeah, to load the stock tcm tune, you'd select modify stock tune ;)
